CAIRO, March 2 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Sunday reviewed progress achieved by state's cotton trading system, affirming keenness on supporting farmers and expediting the payment of their dues, particularly regarding the cotton crop.
The premier made the remarks during a meeting held to review cotton trading system, in the presence of Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchak, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk, Minister of Public Business Sector Mohamed Shemi, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan el Khatib and officials of ministries concerned.
The meeting reviewed the implementation rate of the cotton trading system that falls within the framework of the state's keenness on cotton farmers and enhancing the quality of the crop, in order to achieve an added value in all phases of the manufacturing. (MENA)
