MADRID, Feb 18 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with Simón Pedro Barceló, Chairman of Barceló Group, during his official visit to Spain.
The meeting focused on investment opportunities in Egypt’s tourism sector.
During the talks, Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to supporting Spanish hospitality companies, offering facilities to help them expand in the Egyptian market.
He stressed Egypt’s goal to attract 30 million tourists and increase hotel capacity. He also welcomed global hotel chains to invest and contribute to tourism development.
For his part, the Barceló Group Chairman expressed interest in expanding operations in Egypt, citing the country’s strong tourism potential.
He outlined plans for new investments, which Sisi welcomed, assuring state support for their success. (MENA)
