WASHINGTON, Feb 19 (MENA) - The administration of US President Donald Trump announced its agreement to hold further talks with Russia to end the war in Ukraine.

Al-Hurra TV Channel said Wednesday the approval came after an initial meeting between US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Saudi Arabia without the participation of Ukraine.

US President Donald Trump considered that the US-Russian talks that took place in Saudi Arabia regarding Ukraine were good, suggesting the possibility of holding a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin before the end of February. (MENA)
