CAIRO, Jan 10 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty has praised the close relations between Egypt and the Republic of the Congo.
The minister’s remarks came Friday in a phone call with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Congo-Brazzaville Jean-Claude Gakosso. The call is part of ongoing efforts to bolster cooperation between Egypt and the Central African country.
Abdelatty voiced Egypt’s readiness to back the Republic of the Congo and contribute to carrying out sustainable development projects there.
The ministers shared views on regional developments, underlining the need to support security and stability in Africa and boost economic relations between the two countries.
They also agreed on intensifying bilateral coordination to serve the interests of their countries and other countries on the African continent. (MENA)
