CAIRO, Aug 11 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty on Sunday participated in the inauguration ceremony of Rwandan President Paul Kagame in Kigali.
Abdelatty had earlier arrived in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, to attend the celebrations.
During the visit, the foreign minister had meetings with several participants in the event, according to a press release by the foreign ministry.
Abdelatty is set to hold political talks with the Rwanda foreign affairs and health ministers.
He will also meet with some members of the Egyptian community in Rwanda and partake in a roundtable with a number of Rwandan businessmen and representatives of the private sector.
Meanwhile, Abdelatty discussed with Dr. Magdi Yacoub, Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery, measures to establish Magdi Yacoub Center Rwanda – Egypt for Cardiac Surgery.
The Egyptian top diplomat will take part in a celebration to mark the completion of phase one of the Center. (MENA)
