The foreign minister said Egypt continues its pivotal role as a pillar of security and stability in the Middle East, as per the directives of President Sisi.

Abdelatty underlined security and stability in the region cannot be achieved unless there are good neighborly relations and solid principles agreed upon among regional countries.

The foreign minister stated the Egyptian foreign policy calls for respecting the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of states, respecting the principle of good neighborliness and respecting the sovereignty of states, in addition to preserving the unity and territorial integrity of any state.

Abdelatty urged for cooperation and solidarity among regional countries to face the current crises.

He reiterated the necessity of supporting national state institutions to address challenges. (MORE)
