CAIRO, June 4 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli started the cabinet meeting on Wednesday with offering greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, government members, the Egyptian people as well as the Islamic and Arab nations on Eid al Adha.

He wished all the best for Egypt as well as Arab and Islamic nations.

He directed all government authorities and the bodies concerned to take all needed measures during Eid al Adha, which falls on Friday, to avoid any possible crises and ensure providing various services to citizens.

He urged services and utility bodies to work during the Eid vacation.

He lauded the role played by military and police forces and all officials concerned who work during vacations to maintain discipline and ensure a happy holiday for the citizens.

The premier underlined the importance of maintaining vigilance during the Eid holiday to confront any attempts to encroach on agricultural lands, and to deal firmly with violations.

During the meeting, Madbouli referred to the important outcomes of bilateral meetings which President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held, including a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi who commended the Egyptian role in restoring regional stability and stressed his country's keenness on holding continued consultations with Egypt in the coming period.

The president also held a meeting with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi who hailed Egypt's active and historic role in the disarmament domain as well as its efforts in this regard.

He reviewed the recent governmental activities, topped by the signing of a partnership and development contract for the "Jirian" city project, a strategic alliance between the Egypt Future Authority for Sustainable Development and leading real estate developers "Nations of Sky," "Palm Hills," and "Mountain View".

He referred also to opening a new HQ of the Consumer Protection Authority which represents a watershed stage in digitizing services offered to citizens. (MENA)
