BAGHDAD, May 17 (MENA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi participated on Saturday in the 34th session of the Arab League Council at the summit level, held in Baghdad.

Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed el Shennawy stated that the meeting addressed regional developments and the grave challenges facing the Arab world, particularly the ongoing war in Gaza, as well as the conditions in Syria, Sudan, Libya, and Somalia.

The summit also discussed efforts to enhance joint Arab action in line with the aspirations of the Arab peoples.

Shennawy added that President Sisi delivered a speech during the summit, outlining Egypt’s vision vis-a-vis various issues on the table. (MENA)
