SOFIA, April 13 (MENA) - Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry has expressed condolences to the people of Ukraine following a Russian missile strike in the center of the Ukrainian city of Sumy on Palm Sunday, the Bulgarian News Agency reported.

"We are horrified by the Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Sumy, which killed and injured civilians, including children gathered to celebrate Palm Sunday," the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on social media platform X.

"Our hearts are with the families of the victims and the injured ones. Bulgaria stands with Ukraine," the ministry added.

At least 21 people were killed and 83 injured in the ballistic missile strike in Sumy early Sunday morning, according to Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko. (MENA)
