CAIRO, April 8 (MENA) - French President Emmanuel Macron said the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is untenable.

"The humanitarian situation in Gaza is untenable. The resumption of aid, the liberation of hostages, the ceasefire, and the path to peace are absolutely indispensable," Macron wrote on his official X account on Tuesday.

In another post, Macron said that two million people are trapped with no access to aid or help.

"Tens of thousands of dead people. The wounded. Orphans. This is the reality in Gaza today," he added. (MENA)
