The Homat al Watan (Homeland Protectors) Party praised the national stance demonstrated by the Egyptian people following the Eid prayer, where millions of Egyptians expressed their full support for the political leadership’s decisions and their solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli aggression, firmly rejecting attempts to displace Palestinians from their lands.

The party emphasized that the scenes of Egyptians performing the Eid prayer and organizing solidarity gatherings reflect the deep historical bonds between the Egyptian and Palestinian peoples, confirming that the Palestinian cause will remain the primary issue for Arabs. The party stressed that Egypt, under President Sisi’s leadership, will not allow any attempts to impose a new reality on the Palestinians, whether through displacement or the liquidation of their just cause.

The Ittihad (Union) Party also confirmed that the gathering of millions in various governorates to support the Palestinian cause and reject the forced displacement of Palestinians after the Eid prayers reflects the strong national awareness of the Egyptian people and their belief in the justice of the Palestinian cause.

They said that these popular stances align completely with Egypt’s official position, which has spared no effort in supporting and defending the Palestinian people’s rights in all international forums. Also, they reaffirmed that Egypt will remain a major supporter of the Palestinian cause due to its historical commitment to the Palestinian people's legitimate rights. They rejected any attempts by Israel, as the occupying power, to impose displacement or liquidation plans, asserting that such actions will not be accepted by the free international community.

The Al Mo’atamar (Conference) Party leaders stressed that the Palestinian cause is deeply ingrained in every Egyptian’s heart and that the official and popular positions are unified against plans aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause. They noted that since the Israeli aggression on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, the political leadership has been vigorously resisting displacement plans.

They stressed that it is important for the international community to assume its responsibility and stop remaining passive in the face of this blatant aggression. They confirmed that the Egyptian people, united with their leadership, will continue to stand firmly against any attempt to displace the Palestinians and will uphold their rights.

Leaders of the El Gil el Democraty (Democratic Generation) Party emphasized that the massive gatherings held by Egyptians to protest against the Israeli atrocities against innocent civilians, affirm that Palestine remains a major cause of the Egyptian people. They noted that these gatherings demonstrate Egypt’s unity and stability in the face of continued efforts to target it.

In turn, Wafd Party leaders praised the massive demonstrations that took place in Egypt today after the Eid prayers, which reflected the widespread popular rejection of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

They said these popular movements express Egypt's consistent stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and rejecting all forms of aggression and violations faced by the Palestinian people. They also demonstrate that the Egyptian people stand united behind the political leadership under President Sisi, “supporting all decisions made to preserve Egypt's national and Arab security.

The party leaders condemned the brutal Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that the occupation forces do not seek peace and are attempting to thwart any efforts to establish a comprehensive and just solution that ensures the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state.

They underscored the necessity for the international community to shoulder its responsibilities regarding all crimes perpetrated against Palestinian civilians, urging it to stop complicity with the Israeli killing machine, and to work on reactivating the ceasefire agreement and implementing a plan for the reconstruction of Gaza.

They pointed out that the Egyptian proposal for the reconstruction of Gaza is an important step toward achieving peace and stability in the region, as it includes a ceasefire deal and plans to support Gaza security and development and strengthen the Palestinian people’s presence on their land.

The party leaders concluded that Egypt’s proposed comprehensive plan enjoys growing Arab and international support, placing the international community before its responsibilities in confronting the Israeli violations that threaten the hopes of people for development and prosperity and violate Palestinian and Arab human rights.
