DAMIETTA, Egypt, March 20 (MENA) - As many as 36 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta port in the last 24 hours.

In a statement released on Thursday, the Damietta Port Authority said that the total volume of exported goods from the port amounted to 28,987 tons.

It added that the total volume of imported goods into the port reached 26,692 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at public sector warehouses hit 131,530 tons, while wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 72,252 tons. (MENA)
