CAIRO, March 19 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty hailed during a telephone call with his Azeri counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov the ongoing development in bilateral ties between Egypt and Azerbaijan on all fronts.

During the contact, he pointed out to high-level mutual visits by both sides.

Abdelatty said the Egyptian side is looking forward to capitalizing on the momentum gained by the exchange of visits to promote joint cooperation vistas in order to make a quantum leap in historic relations between the two nations in the different domains.

The foreign minister also voiced Egypt's desire to boost economic cooperation and scale up the volume of trade exchange and investments, in addition to enhancing economic partnerships between the private sector in the two countries.

The Egyptian top diplomat underscored the importance of maintaining cooperation and coordination with Azerbaijan at international forums. (MENA)
