CAIRO, March 5 (MENA) - The Cabinet approved in its weekly meeting Wednesday presidential pardon to remaining sentences for some convicts on the occasion of both Eidul Fitr, and Sinai Liberation Day, corresponding to 25th of April.

The Cabinet was briefed on a report submitted by the National Authority for the Development of the Sinai Peninsula on the efforts and activities of the Authority in various sectors during the period from 7/1/2024 to 12/31/2024.

The Cabinet approved the request submitted by the governorates of Dakahlia, Qalyubia and Minya, regarding the establishment of a number of public benefit projects.

The Cabinet also approved the licensing of the Egyptian Space Agency to establish “Egyptian Space Services Company," for the purpose of developing and transferring space science and technology, manufacturing satellites, localizing and developing them, and possessing the self-capabilities to build and launch satellites from Egyptian lands, as well as licensing the Egyptian Space Agency to establish a technological zone within the space city.
