The minister also outlined the national economic development narrative aimed at fostering sustainable growth, employment, and competitiveness through structured reforms and policy integration.

She announced upcoming roundtable discussions with ministries and advisory committees to refine this strategy, which prioritizes shifting Egypt’s economic structure towards export-oriented sectors.

Madbouli reviewed ongoing structural reforms and the second phase of the macroeconomic stabilization mechanism, which includes 114 measures across various sectors to enhance private sector participation and improve the business environment.

Additionally, preparations for the 2025 Human Development Report were discussed.

Mashat provided updates on entrepreneurship initiatives, including efforts to streamline startup regulations, improve licensing procedures, and launch a unified financial support program.

She emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing Egypt’s startup ecosystem and economic competitiveness.

The meeting also addressed the economic partnership between Egypt and the European Union, focusing on economic stability, trade, investment, human capital development, and the €1.8 billion investment guarantee mechanism to attract European businesses.

Mashat reviewed the implementation of Egypt’s general planning law and the Performance Monitoring System, an advanced electronic tool to track and evaluate government performance in line with Egypt Vision 2030.

The minister also discussed the EU-funded Public Governance Review project conducted with the OECD, marking Egypt’s first comprehensive governance assessment.
