CAIRO, Feb 25 (MENA) - The Public Security Sector of the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the General Administration for Combating Public Money Crimes and security directorates, continued efforts to control crimes of trafficking in foreign exchange outside the banking market, seizing foreign currency worth EGP 6 million in cases of illegal foreign exchange trafficking within 24 hours.

All efforts came in the implementation of directives of Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq to continue security strikes against crimes of illegal trade in foreign exchange and speculation in currency prices, hiding currencies from circulation and trading them away from the banking market to prevent violations having negative repercussions on the country’s national economy.
