CAIRO, Feb 5 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty asserted during a phone call with Indian External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar the Egyptian political leadership's keenness in boosting bilateral cooperation between the two countries on all fronts of mutual concern.

The foreign minister commended distinguished bilateral ties between Egypt and India.

He pointed out to the various meetings that brought together President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the past period, which were crowned with elevating ties between Egypt and India to the level of strategic partnership.

He underlined that Egypt and India share almost the same political stands and developmental priorities.

Abdelatty talked about the most important joint cooperation vistas, which saw a tangible growth in the recent period.

The two ministers tackled the latest developments at the regional and international and agreed on maintaining continued coordination and consultation in the coming period. (MENA)
