CAIRO, Jan 17 (MENA) - Technical meetings kicked off in Cairo Friday to establish mechanisms for implementing the Gaza ceasefire agreement, AlQahera News‎ reported.

Egyptian, Qatari, American, and Israeli teams are participating in the meetings.

Earlier on the day, Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said the mediators would have an “operation room” overseeing the deal in the Egyptian capital.

Egypt is intensively preparing to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza through the Rafah border crossing. Hospitals in North Sinai are fully prepared to receive injured individuals from Gaza, the channel reported.

It broadcast footage showing hundreds of aid trucks lined up, loaded with food, tents, and all essential supplies necessary for life in Gaza. (MENA)
