CAIRO, Jan 7 (MENA) - Egypt's First Lady Mrs Intissar El Sisi greeted the Egyptian people on the occasion of Coptic Christmas.

Posting to her official Facebook page, the Mrs Sisi extended her sincerest Christmas greetings and best wishes to all Egyptians, saying that she prays to God Almighty to bless all Egyptians and perpetuate their unity and love.

Coptic Christmas is observed on what the Julian Calendar labels 25 December, a date that currently corresponds with 7 January on the more widely used Gregorian Calendar (which is also when Christmas is observed in many Eastern Orthodox countries such as Russia).(MENA)
