CAIRO, Dec 23 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty held a phone conversation with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan to discuss the latest developments in Syria and Gaza.
During the phone conversation, Abdelatty reaffirmed the importance of supporting Syria's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity while enabling its national institutions to restore stability. He also stressed the need for an inclusive, Syrian-led political process to achieve lasting peace.
On Gaza, the Egyptian top diplomat outlined the State's ongoing efforts to mediate a sustainable ceasefire and ensure the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to the enclave, emphasizing the urgency of addressing the worsening humanitarian crisis. (MENA)
