He pointed out - on the sidelines of the press conference held to announce the launch of Cairo Sustainable Energy Week (CSEW) from October 1 to 3 - to Egypt's leadership in the Arab region in the energy sector and its future vision towards the necessity of shifting towards renewable energy.

According to the Arab Future Energy Index 2023, Egypt is one of the best markets attracting investment despite the economic challenges it has gone through, thanks to direct investments in renewable energy and green hydrogen.
