CAIRO, May 25 (MENA) - Egypt will remain a voice of peace, stability and development in Africa, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Sunday.
In a press release on its Facebook account on the occasion of Africa Day, which falls on May 25, the Foreign Ministry said the unity of fate and African integration embodied the Egyptian viewpoint towards Africa.
The Foreign Ministry organized last night a ceremony marking Africa Day.
Addressing the ceremony, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty expounded the role played by Egypt under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi who is currently the head of the Steering Committee of the Heads of State and Government Orientation Committee of the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) to serve the African continent.
