MOSCOW, May 9 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi left Moscow for Egypt Friday evening after having participated in Russia's celebrations of the 80th anniversary of Victory Day, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The celebrations took place in Moscow’s iconic Red Square, showcasing Russian armed forces, to commemorate the end of World War II, in the presence of a great host of world leaders.
During an expanded session of talks, Sisi and Putin agreed on the importance of working to increase tourist traffic from Russia to Egypt and promoting Egypt's new tourist destinations in Russia.
They also emphasized the need to boost joint cooperation in the energy, food, mining, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors while maintaining mutual coordination at international forums, including the BRICS bloc. (MENA)
