MOSCOW, May 9 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended on Friday a banquet hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin in honour of world leaders participating in a ceremony marking Victory Day.
Sisi also attended a military parade held at the Red Square in Moscow on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War.
Putin and various heads of state attended a ceremony marking the historic milestone, said Egyptian Presidential Spokesperson Mohamed el Shennawi.
The Victory Day in WWII is regarded as Russia’s most significant secular holiday. (MENA)
