CAIRO, April 30 (MENA) – Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration, reiterated Egypt's keenness on proceeding with efforts to enhance the amicable ties between Egypt and Greece in various political, economic and trade domains.
He highlighted the long-standing historical ties between the two countries.
He made the remarks during a phone call on Wednesday with Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis within the framework of the ongoing efforts to further relations between the two friendly countries.
Abdelatty praised Greece's supportive stance towards Egypt in various international forums, particularly within the European Union.
He also highlighted Egypt's interest in continuing to enhance joint coordination in light of Greece’s current non-permanent membership in the United Nations Security Council for 2025-2026, with a focus on supporting regional stability and international security. (MENA)
