CAIRO, April 19 (MENA) - Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Madbouli said his inspection visits and field tours, especially those made to industrial parks, bring a sense of joy and optimism, thanks to the positive developments witnessed during these tours.
In press statements following his tour of five industrial parks in the 10th of Ramadan City on Saturday, Madboui added that industrialists are very optimistic about the future of the industrial sector, as well as measures taken by the state and the government for the advancement of the manufacturing industry.
He said today's tour started with the pharmaceutical sector and then the food industry before visiting some factories and complexes producing metal products, such as cables.
The tour also covered a pump manufacturing complex, the prime minister added, citing President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to secure the state's needs for pumps that are needed for implementing national projects, including the projects pursued under the presidential rural development "Decent Life" initiative.
Madbouli said a large number of these factories are now exporting 50% of their production, noting that today's tour was concluded by visiting a training center affiliated with the Productivity and Vocational Training Department (PVTD), established in the 1950s, with 44 training centers nationwide.
He also touched on the government's effort to improve these centers and ensure that their training programs are designed to meet the private sector's needs.
"Many foreign partners are involved in this regard, including the European Aid Program (EAP), and a large number of privately owned Egyptian factories that manage and operate these centers," the prime minister said. (MENA)
