CAIRO, April 9 (MENA) - Foreign, Emigration and Expatriates Affairs Minister Badr Abdelatty said he looks forward to maintaining efforts to expand bilateral cooperation with Sweden, especially at the economic and commercial levels, and making optimum use of investment opportunities in Egypt's various sectors.
Abdelatty made the remarks during a meeting with Sweden's State Secretary to the Minister for Migration Anders Hall on the margins of the Second Ministerial Meeting of the Khartoum Process, hosted by Cairo on Wednesday.
Hailing ongoing coordination with the Swedish side on various issues of mutual interest, including migration, Abdelatty welcomed the Swedish support for Egyptian efforts to combat illegal migration through the assistance provided by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) to relevant UN bodies operating in Egypt.
