CAIRO, March 13 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Thursday chaired a meeting to follow up on the implementation of mandates as regards stimulating the investment climate and enhancing its competitiveness.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy, as well as Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan el Khatib.
The prime minister said the meeting aims to follow up on the steps announced by the government to facilitate investment procedures, regulate service fees, and unify collectors with a view to stimulating the investment climate.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Finance for Tax Policy Sherif el Kilany, Assistant Minister of Finance for Tax Policy and Development Ramy Youssef, Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority Rasha Abdel Aal, Assistant Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade for Investment, Promotion and Government Offerings Ghada Nour, Deputy Minister of Finance for Enhancing the Investment Climate and Economic Competitiveness Abed Mahran, along with some officials from the ministries concerned.
