CAIRO, March 10 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has directed intensified efforts to maximize the benefits of Egypt’s advanced infrastructure and ensure regular follow-up on ongoing projects.

During a meeting on Monday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Housing Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny, Sisi called for close monitoring of the offering procedures for upcoming residential units.

In a statement following the meeting, Presidential Spokesman Mohamed El-Shennawy said that Sisi reviewed progress in housing projects, including those designated for Egyptians abroad, as part of the state’s efforts to strengthen ties with expatriates.

The discussion covered the implementation of the "Your Home in Egypt" and "Beit Al-Watan" initiatives, which provide housing units and land in prime locations across Egypt’s governorates and new cities.

The president stressed the need to expedite construction under these initiatives and emphasized the importance of ensuring suitable housing for all Egyptians.

He ordered the immediate launch of a large-scale residential offering, totaling 400,000 units, catering to low-, middle-, and high-income groups.

Sisi also praised the Housing Ministry’s latest projects, such as "Housing for All Egyptians," "Diarna," and "Zilal."

The meeting further reviewed the progress of several developmental projects, particularly in the Western North Coast region.

The president underscored the necessity of constant coordination with contractors, accelerating project timelines, and conducting regular oversight to optimize outcomes.

He highlighted the importance of leveraging these developments to boost the tourism sector and align with Egypt’s broader development vision. (MENA)
