CAIRO, March 6 (MENA) – Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty attended a ministerial meeting with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Mecca to discuss the outcomes of the Arab Extraordinary Summit held in Cairo on March 4.

GCC ministers praised President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for hosting the summit and supporting Gaza’s early recovery plan, reconstruction efforts, and the formation of a Gaza management committee under the Palestinian government.

The meeting addressed security and governance in Gaza and Palestinian reform efforts. The ministers also agreed to hold the first Egypt-GCC Forum in Cairo this year to boost investment in energy, industry, logistics, and construction.

Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Gulf states within the framework of the 2024-2025 joint action plan. (MENA)
