CAIRO, March 2 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli praised continued efforts of the Cabinet's Supreme Medical Committee during the month of February, citing the committee's important and effective role in monitoring and responding to appeals for medical help across the various governorates and providing the best health services to citizens according to requirements of each case.

This came during a meeting Sunday to follow up on efforts of the Committee throughout the month of February 2025, in light of a report prepared by Medical Advisor to the Cabinet and Chairman of the Cabinet's Supreme Medical Committee Hossam el-Masry.

The committee 's chairman said, the Committee was keen - during the month of February - on promptly and effectively responding to citizens, adding that efforts in this regard included monitoring and responding to 1,095 cases through the WhatsApp application, as well as media and various social networking sites.

According to Masry, in February, the prime minister issued 163 treatment decisions at State expense, in addition to facilitating health procedures, medications and responding to a number of emergency health cases. (MENA)
