CAIRO, Feb 9 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Sunday reviewed the blueprint of as well as progress achieved so far in the Ras El Hekma city project with officials of Emirati Modon Holding PSC.

During a meeting with Chairman of Modon Holding Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi and Group Chief Executive Officer of Modon Holding Bill O'Regan, Madbouli said that the master plan for the development of Ras el Hekma will represent a huge urban leap in Egypt’s northwestern coast region.

It will also be a key opportunity for Egyptian companies in various fields, along with the potential of creating thousands of job opportunities for Egyptians throughout its different implementation phases, the premier added.

Madbouli expressed appreciation for the strenuous effort of the UAE side to accelerate the finalization of the master plan for carrying out Ras el Hekma development project, according to the set timetable.

For his part, the chairman of Modon Holding thanked Madbouli for his continued support for the project and keenness to finalize it according to its schedule.

Zaabi said that Modon Holding has achieved a significant progress in designing the master plan since October 2024, underscoring that the Ras el Hikma project reflects the great cooperation between the Egyptian and Emirati private sectors, particularly companies operating in the contractor, real estate development and various other fields.

While reviewing the features of the project’s master plan, Zaabi said that he is looking forward to cooperating with Egyptian companies to implement the project efficiently, in accordance with the highest international standards. (MENA)
