CAIRO, Jan 20 (MENA) - A security source denied as bare of truth a video circulated on social media pages affiliated to the Brotherhood group showing a driver colliding with a person during an altercation at a gas station, claiming that one of the parties involved was a police officer.

The source said that the video was old and published last year.

The source further said that the circumstances behind the incident was clarified at the time on the official page of the Ministry of Interior.

A quarrel had occurred between a number of people and a worker at a gas station in the 6th of October City in Giza, the source said, adding none of the parties to the quarrel was a police officer.

The source further said the aim of republishing this video was to stir up public discontent. (MENA)
