CAIRO, Jan 16 (MENA) - Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty underlined that Egypt will proceed with its efforts to help Libyan parties to reach a Libyan-Libyan solution and respect state institutions in order to finally hold presidential and parliamentary elections.

He made the remarks during a meeting on Thursday with Officer-in-Charge of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) Stephanie Koury, currently visiting Cairo.

Abdelatty said he is looking forward to promoting cooperation with Koury to bolster efforts to settle the Libyan crisis.

The foreign minister underlined the importance of the exit of all foreign forces, fighters and mercenaries from Libyan territories under a set timetable, thus maintaining the unity, security and stability of Libya. (MENA)
