RIYADH, Jan 12 (MENA) - Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty hailed on Sunday the depth of Egyptian-Saudi relations, expressing keenness on boosting them in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples in various domains, especially in the political, economic, trade, and investment ones.

His statements came during a meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on the sidelines of meetings hosted by Riyadh to discuss conditions in Syria.

The two ministers discussed the latest developments on the Syrian arena and reaffirmed the unity of Syria and the integrity of its territories.

They called for starting a comprehensive political process with the participation of all Syrian components to restore stability on all Syrian territories.

They also discussed conditions in the Gaza Strip and the importance of reaching a permanent ceasefire and delivering aid to the Palestinian enclave.

The two ministers tackled the latest developments in Sudan, Lebanon, and the Horn of Africa. (MENA)
