CAIRO, Jan 9 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty made a telephone conversation Thursday with Chad's Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, Chadians Abroad and International Cooperation Abdelrahman Ghulamallah.

The contact dealt with ways of boosting bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two sisterly countries in different domains including economy, trade and capacity building.

The contact tackled as well the outcome of Abdelatty's visit to the Chadian capital N'Djamena on December 26, 2024.

They exchanged viewpoints on a number of regional files including the situation in Sudan and ways of promoting security and stability in the Sahara and Sahel region.

The Egyptian official asserted Egypt's complete solidarity with the Chadian government and people and its condemnation of the terrorist act, which took place in N'Djamena Wednesday.

The top diplomat emphasized Egypt's support for efforts exerted by the Chadian government to maintain security and stability in the country. (MENA)
