CAIRO, Jan 5 (MENA) – Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Egypt, Abdullah bin Nasser bin Musallam Al Rahbi, described Egypt-Oman relations as a "model for Arab cooperation," emphasizing that they are founded on the principles of fraternity and mutual respect, as well as collaboration to promote regional stability and security.

In a statement to MENA, he underlined the importance of Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty’s visit to Muscat, highlighting it as evidence of the deep bonds and continuous coordination between the two nations to address current regional challenges.

Talks between the two sides during the visit will focus on pressing issues such as the Gaza crisis, with both nations calling for an immediate ceasefire and unrestricted flow of humanitarian aid, and the Syrian conflict, where they stress the need for a political solution, the protection of Syria’s territorial integrity, and the return of the occupied Golan Heights, according to him.

The visit will include the convocation of a joint business forum aimed at strengthening trade and investment ties, reflecting Oman’s "Vision 2040" and Egypt’s commitment to enhancing economic partnerships with Arab nations, he said.
