CAIRO, Nov 12 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a phone call from Félix Tshisekedi, the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on Tuesday.
They discussed means to cement bilateral cooperation and foster ties in different domains between both countries, the presidential spokesman said.
The Congolese president lauded Egypt’s support for DR Congo, particularly Cairo’s positive backing for development efforts in the African country.
Both sides also discussed efforts to maintain peace, security and stability in Africa and agreed to continue having mutual coordination and cooperation to serve the interests of Egyptian and Congolese peoples and the African continent entirely. (MENA)
