CAIRO/RIYADH, April 29 (MENA) - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Jordan Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Ayman Safadi, respectively, along with Hussein Al-Sheikh, the Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) held a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in the Saudi capital, Riyadh on Monday.

Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said on "X" platform that the meeting comes to follow up on the track of discussions and proposed ideas on stopping the war in Gaza and the future of the Palestinian cause.

The spokesman added that Shoukry held intensive talks with his counterparts from Bahrain, France, Britain, Norway, Malaysia and Sri Lanka and the high representative of the European Union for foreign affairs.
