As part of the World Cities Day celebrations in Alexandria, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, attended an artistic evening at Qaitbay Citadel, in the presence of Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Saeed, Governor of Alexandria, and Ms. Anna Claudia Rossbach, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and his companions toured the "Prophet Daniel Street" development project in the central district of the governorate, accompanied by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria. At the beginning of his tour, the Prime Minister pointed out the great interest that the state gives to developing various sites in all governorates of the republic, stressing the government's special interest in developing archaeological areas.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and partnership between the armed forces of the two friendly countries in various fields.

Activities of the extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent delegates, chaired by Yemen; based on the request of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the support of the Arab countries. The meeting discussed the joint Arab response to the dangerous illegal laws passed by the Israeli Knesset (parliament) that ban the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem.
