CAIRO, July 8 (MENA) - The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced extending working hours at selected bank branches - based on each bank’s geographic branch distribution across the country and its internal assessment - until 5:00 pm, instead of 3:00 pm.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the CBE said the Bank's branches located in shopping malls and clubs will operate from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, providing full banking services seven days a week, including Fridays and Saturdays.

The step is meant to provide banking services to the public in the best possible way.

This extension is applicable on official working days (form Sunday to Thursday) starting Tuesday until further notice. (MENA)
