CAIRO, July 8 (MENA) - House of Representatives Speaker Hanafy el-Gebaly Tuesday directed the House’s Communications and Information Technology Committee to convene an urgent meeting with Minister of Communications and Information Technology (ICT) Amr Talaat to discuss circumstances of the blaze that broke out at the main switchboard in the building of Ramses Telecom Egypt Company and share facts with the public in this regard.

During Tuesday's session, the House speaker extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the four victims of the mishap and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

“I will be following up on the communication committee’s discussions and ensure sharing facts with the public as well as the consequences of the incident,” the Speaker said. (MENA)
