BRASILIA, July 8 (MENA) - Brazil and Vietnam have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, according to TV BRICS.
The new MoU builds upon the existing 2008 Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the two countries and is designed to deepen institutional, academic, scientific, and economic collaboration.
The partnership prioritizes key areas such as artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, big data, semiconductors, the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, digital governance, and cloud computing.
It also includes cooperation on advanced telecommunications, including 5G and 6G, support for start-ups, innovation ecosystems, and digital transformation in critical sectors like smart cities, healthcare, and education.
The agreement outlines specific mechanisms for cooperation, including joint research projects, academic exchange programs, expert missions, seminars, policy dialogue, and training initiatives.
