CAIRO, July 7 (MENA) - Slovenian ambassador in Cairo Sašo Podlesnik signed an agreement with “Microjustice” Foundation to continue the joint project “Promoting Gender Equality and Environmental Sustainability” through integrated legal solutions for rural women’s rights funded in partnership with the International Development Cooperation Fund of Slovenia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs for the years 2025 and 2026.

A statement published Monday on the official Facebook page of the Embassy of Slovenia in Cairo said, the project aims to strengthen efforts to empower women in rural areas to face legal challenges, raise their legal awareness and legal security and encourage sustainable environmental practices. In addition, it will expand its scope to include five more governorates. (MENA)
