Abdelatty said that there is an American vision that seeks to focus on the Gaza Strip after reaching a ceasefire, and that the United States understands the need for any upcoming agreement to include sufficient guarantees to ensure the sustainability of the ceasefire.

In his interview with "ON TV," Abdelatty added that if Israel resumes its assault on Gaza after an agreement is reached, this would become a major source of threat and instability in the region.

The Foreign Minister pointed out that there has been a shift in the US approach toward the issue of the displacement of Gaza's residents, while also noting that Egypt will hold a Gaza reconstruction conference within weeks of the ceasefire.

Abdelatty cited President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's statements that "even if Israel succeeds in normalizing relations with all Arab countries, this will not lead to security and stability in the region without fulfilling the aspirations of the Palestinian people and their right to establish an independent state".

Regarding the presence of Hamas in the negotiations, the Foreign Minister said that Hamas is part of the talks because the negotiations are about a deal for the release of a group of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners. (MORE)
