CAIRO, June 22 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Badr Abdelatty and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani stressed the need to avoid further chaos and tension in the region during separate phone calls.
The conversations, held amid heightened regional diplomacy, focused on the escalating military conflict between Israel and Iran and its serious implications for regional peace and security.
The three ministers emphasized the importance of halting military escalation and achieving a ceasefire. They called for prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions as the only viable path out of the current crisis.
They also underscored the need to respect the sovereignty of states, uphold international law and adhere to the United Nations Charter.
