CAIRO, June 3 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli reaffirmed the government’s strong commitment to expediting the implementation of infrastructure projects in the New Delta, with a particular focus on electric power supply, as a strategic pillar for driving forward this national agricultural and development megaproject.
During a high-level meeting held to review progress on infrastructure and land reclamation works in the New Delta, Madbouli emphasized that electrical connectivity is critical to enabling sustainable agricultural production, especially within the framework of the “Future of Egypt for sustainable development” initiative.
Deputy Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Sabah Mashaly, Director of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Mahmoud Sulieman and representatives from the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company and South Cairo Electricity Distribution Company attended the meeting.
Mashaly delivered a comprehensive technical update on the progress of power infrastructure development projects tailored for Egypt’s agricultural expansion. (MENA)
