CAIRO, May 27 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reiterated deep cultural ties between Egypt and Mauritania during a meeting on Tuesday in Nouakchott with Mauritanian Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Government Spokesperson Al-Hussein Ould Medou.

Abdelatty underscored the historic role of the Egyptian Cultural Center in Nouakchott, which has served as a beacon of intellectual and cultural exchange since its establishment in 1964 to become the second cultural center and the first Arab one in Mauritania.

He also noted plans to launch an Egypt-Mauritania parliamentary friendship group in the near future, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors. (MENA)
