CAIRO, May 21 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty praised the relationship between Egypt and Senegal, highlighting that they are celebrating the 65th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic ties.
This came during a meeting he held on Wednesday with Senegalese Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs Yassine Fall, on the sidelines of the African-European Ministerial Meeting held in Brussels, according to an official press release.
During the meeting, Abdelatty underscored Egypt's interest in strengthening partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries and the implementation of infrastructure projects in Senegal by Egyptian companies, which have a great expertise in many areas, including the building of new cities and irrigation networks as well as land reclamation.
The two ministers exchanged views on the situation in the Sahel region and West Africa, as well as ways to enhance joint African action and integration among the continent's countries to achieve common interests. (MENA)
