CAIRO, May 20 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli Tuesday expressed the government's aspiration to activate the Egyptian-Saudi Supreme Coordination Council in the coming period, in a way that supports bilateral relations in all fields.
This came during Madbouli's meeting, Tuesday evening, at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, with Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, to discuss several issues of mutual interest.
The premier commended efforts being exerted to strengthen relations between the two countries, through the signing of a joint agreement to protect and encourage investments, in addition to the formation of the Joint Supreme Coordination Council.
He expressed hope for the success of the visit of the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council to Egypt, wishing that it would contribute to strengthening the bonds between the two sisterly countries.
For his part, the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council praised the efforts made by the government to achieve comprehensive development and promote bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the depth of relations between both countries. (MENA)
